Engineers Create New Battery to Replace Lithium-ion Batteries (msn.com)

Just the newest in a long line of applicants for the throne. The Proton battery. Tomorrow it will be something else. Ultimately, of course, technology and the market actually will replace the lithium battery, but I don't believe it will happen overnight despite the willingness of the journalism industry to promote such a titilating possibility. For now, just something to keep in mind.
