CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 10, 2008) - With reference to its press release dated July 7, 2008 Torch River Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:TCR) ("Torch" or the "Company") wishes to clarify that the contract with WallStreetCorner.com, Inc. ("WSC") only provides for WSC to actively disseminate information provided by the Company to WSC. The information to be disseminated by WSC shall include only information has been prepared in the ordinary course of the business of the Company. WSC will concentrate on disseminating the information of the Company through its network in 96 countries to raise public awareness of the Company.
Torch is also pleased to announce that it has appointed RedChip Securities Inc. ("RCS") as its investor relations counsel. RCS is a U.S. based company that specializes in developing investment community sponsorship for growth oriented public companies. RSC will concentrate on introducing the Company to RCS's network of market makers, sponsors, brokers and investors. RCS will be paid a one-time flat fee of US$14,000. The appointment is for an initial term of six (6) months. The appointment may be renewed or extended for a further period on written agreement of the parties. Neither RCS, nor its principals, has any direct or indirect interest in any of the Torch's securities.
