CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 7, 2008) - Torch River Resources Ltd. ("Torch" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TCR) is pleased to announce that it has appointed WallStreetCorner.com, Inc. ("WSC") as part of its investor relations counsel. WSC specializes in developing investment community sponsorship for growth oriented public companies. WSC will concentrate on introducing the Company to its network of investors, brokers, analysts and fund managers. WSC will be paid at the rate of US$495 per month. The appointment is for an initial term of twelve (12) months. The appointment may be renewed or extended for a further period on written agreement of the parties. WSC has also been granted an option entitling it to purchase up to 50,000 common shares of the Company at $0.15 per share expiring July 2, 2013 and vesting as follows: (i) one-quarter vesting immediately; (ii) one quarter vesting October 7, 2008; (iii) one quarter vesting January 7, 2009; and (iv) one quarter vesting April 7, 2009. Other than this incentive stock option, neither WSC nor its principals has any direct or indirect interest in any of the Company's securities.
