NEWS - Torch River Announces Drill Results on First Three Holes at Red Bird

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 18, 2007) - Torch River Resources Ltd. ("Torch") (TSX VENTURE:TCR) (FRANKFURT:WNF) is pleased to announce that it has completed its 2007 ten diamond drill hole program on the western extension at its Red Bird property in British Columbia. The western extension is an area of the property which was never previously drilled. A total of 9,000 feet of drilling was completed and the camp at Red Bird has been demobilized.
The results of assays on the first three 
diamond drill holes (DDH) are as
follows:

where calculated use prices of $30 and 
$3.40 per pound of molybdenum (Mo) and 
copper (Cu) respectively.
Torch is also pleased to inform investors that 
Torch River Resources Ltd shares are now 
listed for trading in Germany. In Germany, 
Torch is listed on all exchanges under the 
symbol WNF. For example its exchange call 
letters in Frankfurt are WNF.F.
