VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jul 13, 2007 -- ProtoKinetix Inc.'s (OTCBB: PKTX) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Julia Hunter to their Business Development Advisory Board. After working exclusively with plastic surgeons as an anaesthesiologist, Dr. Hunter chose to retrain in Dermatology at Doctor's Cosmetic, Laser, Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Center in Annapolis, MD.

Retraining and experience in the dermatology workplace substantiated her approach and treatment protocols for anti-aging, disease prevention and treatment, laser and therapeutic skin care and product usage. Dr. Hunter continued to expand her knowledge of integrative, multi-modality and specialty solutions to create the physiologically correct road map to wellness and skin beauty and health for which she is known.

Julia Hunter, MD is the founder of Skin Fitness Plus in Beverly Hills, California. She has become a well acknowledged authority on anti-aging and skin care in Hollywood. ProtoKinetix believes that Dr. Hunter's extensive experience in these arenas will be of significant value on the development of formulation for the cosmetic and skin care industries. This is the first appointment onto the Business Development Advisory Board to accelerate the commercialization of the family of AAGP(TM) molecules.
