Very interesting story (gold). I'll have to share this info with my buddy.

On his property, it appears that early settlers, property owners or dwellers dug huge holes in the ground. 8 total. These holes range in size of about 15 feet wide and 30-50 deep. They're located on top of a small hill and they're all in proximity of 100 yards to each other.

He really don't know what to make of them. I'm wondering now, since hearing your story of gold mining, if these holes were created by someone in search for gold.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your story and am enjoying the images link, as well.
