There lies our problem... the USPTO trying to change definitions perhaps to serve self intrest?
There also lies the risc....which way will the USPTO go?, if they are stubborn and still choose to defy the norms of interpretation, then the stock may plummet.
I just sure hope that TPL can appeal their decision (if they still deny validity due to that "independent" wording). If the USPTO insists on changing the wording.
But we can only hope that the USPTO see's the light.
