I thought RG was chosen by the PTSC Executive committee. I had not considered that the Leckrones had any input in the choice of the new CEO. Actually I had considered it for a very, very brief moment and dismissed the thought as being too far fetched.
Would it really matter if the Leckrones did have an input?

pautaotzu, I don't know why this "outing" was such a big deal. It's a fair question you ask, and any PTSC investor with a brain must have pondered at some point on the possibility that the Leckrones had a hand in Goerner's appointment. We'll probably never know for sure one way or another unless Goerner himself chooses to address the subject.
My main reason for posting is just to point out that the first three words of the passage you quoted were:
