I said I agreed with the necessity of increasing shareholder value by whatever means possible. I just think the author should use better logic when communicating his message.
BTW, most officers of public companies have so many options that they don't need to buy shares. Buying token amounts of shares doesn't make any difference to the share price. Only financial performance does that.
