Have you ever considered that it was never worth $2.00 to begin with? Just because some people threw a lot of money at when the big announcement was made doesn't mean that it really was worth $2. In fact the fact that it fell back to $1 almost immediately is pretty good evidence that it wasn't.
Of course I am in favor of management doing everything it can to increase shareholder value, but you need to make a more cogent argument when you attack them. Was it their fault that the market overvalued the stock for a few weeks?
Let's focus on more objective measures of performance than the whims of a few people who let their emotions get ahead of their brains. There are many other issues to address that are more worthwhile.
