All one needs to do is ask why is the MMP being licensed as a portfolio of patents instead of individually. I do not claim to know why, but that is what they do. They do not license individual pieces of the MMP. You either own the MMP or you don't. If you need it, for whatever reason, you need to license it.

I suspect, it is probably easier to determine if you infringe on certain patents compared to others, (and those are the ones that we will take you to court on), but that doesn't mean you're not infringing on the others as well. Which is why it is a package deal. If the cost of the MMP license depended on which patent/s you infringed on, then why are we dressing it up as a package deal? That would make zero marketing sense.
