Im not sure I understand your query. There is no confidentiality clause applicable to a deal that has not happened yet. Also, I certainly did not request any details, it was very general question about whether there was any connection between the USTPO review and the lull in licensing activities. Finally, they did answer; they did not say "we can not answer" or "will be addressed in a future public correspondence" or no anwer at all. The whole point was to see how they respond and whether there was any meaningful information contained in the response and I think there was - the response received is inconsistent with the notion that there are licensing deals lined up just waiting for USPTO validation. Doesnt mean that the validation wont spark some licensing deals but they arent waiting in the wings. IMO.
