In response to: Re: ARM/336 patent TPL repl... by Sedley

"According to Leckrone, all ARM core families (ARM7, ARM9, ARM9E, ARM10E, ARM11) and the ARM Cortex microprocessor core family do infringe upon the US '584 as well as US 5,440,749 in the MMP Portfolio. "

Thanks for posting. So the story did not end there as ARM's new release yesterday indicated. ARM initiated PTO reexam for 749 patent recently. If they believed TPL/PTSC withdrawn all claim against them except claim 29 of 584 that were waiting for appeal at that time, why they file reexam request on 749.

"Leckrone noted that ARM issued a news release on September 20, 2007 that "was misleading" in that it implied the Texas Court somehow passed a judgment of non-infringement in favor of ARM. "

Mr. Leckrone, can you prepare your response ASAP? ARM was assuring their customers. PTSC shareholders need some assurance too.
