What it looks like to me, is that the three reexams were conducted independently, and once they were completed merged. They were then assigned to a single examiner for issuance of a First Office Action, since they all pertain to claims 1-10 of the '336. But I am most definitely not an expert on patents or the patent system. that's just the way I read it. IMO
