Your are correct, they do collect royalties....the BIG DIFFERENCE IS...

They tell everyone they are doing so in their PR and Q's and K's.

Understandably, they may not release details of the amount and such but they do release info to their shareholders that royalties are being collected and part of their future revenue base..

In PTSC's case, I also understand the privacy issue of licensing and such, but in NO WAY do I understand that royalties, if expected as future revenue, why they should not be included in their Q's and K's.

No details on individual companies would be mentioned to protect any NDA but the fact that future revenue is forthcoming would be a boon to the value of the stock IMO.
