Drilling holes can lead to digging pits

I've been to Ely Nevada and visited not only the Robinson mine , which used to be owned by Kennecott, but also the Schell Creek range where our claims are located. Robinson is huge and runs semi-truck loads of ore thru Ely 24/7. If Tami proves to be something big and Molycor looks for a JV how convenient is it to have a world class mining company a few miles away.

A huge open pit gold and copper mine in northeast Nevada is reporting some record production numbers.

Officials for Quandra Mining say their Robinson mine near Ruth produced 42 million pounds of copper and nearly 38,000 ounces of gold in the first quarter of this year.

Both mark all-time production records for the first fiscal quarter.

Quandra President and CEO Paul Blythe said the credit goes to all the work and innovation on the part of the managers and miners at the mine east of Ely.

He said the record production volumes are especially important during a period of high copper and gold prices.
