There have been a number of posters to this discussion forum that have felt an answer given on March 13 was insufficient. We have submitted the original question to company President Jim Briscoe who has provided the following response:
"The number of holes re-entered was smaller than anticipated and the holes themselves were shallower than was thought. Further, in some of the holes we actually drilled out of the original hole and into the adjacent wall rock getting a good idea of what is there without re-entering the hole with a logging instrument. A good example was the the Gala hole 1. This was entered and at a shallow depth where the drill entered the wall and we continued to drill in strongly altered wall rock. As a result, we defined a new target called Helvia and will be drilling it shortly.
Thus we are still continuing to consider the surveys but at this time we are drilling instead. If surveying the few resulting holes remains a good objective, we will do it at a time when a survey rig is available in the area for other work."
We hope that Mr. Briscoe's response meets with your expectations and we consider the matter addressed. We do encourage constructive dialogue regarding Liberty Star and we suggest you continue to monitor this site for further news and announcements as they become available.
Sincerely
