Volatile markets

If there is anything that can be correlated to uncertainty it is volatility. Oil after a rise of 25% on a single day it fell back to its previous level. For traders this is a great time but for average investor it is a time to step back look at fundamentals than the day to day movement.

What are the fundamentals? Energy in the short and medium have very few substitutes. Prices hence cannot fall below a certain threshold level. If this view is taken then lesser is the chance to get burned in this market.
