Dear "elevatordude"

First, just a reminder, if you would like AGORACOM to specifically answer a question, please tick the box at the bottom that says "Question For AGORACOM Investor Relations".

To answer your questions more specifically, we have forwarded them to Lantis management for their input. They don't know exactly what piece of equipment you and/or your friend are referring to so it is difficult to respond.

The equipment could be one of three different devices. In each case, Lantis Laser's OCT technology is far superior. The equipment could be something called QLF (Qualitative Laser Fluorescent). This piece of equipment is fine for research but not for clinical use. It is ideally suited for smooth surfaces but the biting surface of the tooth is far from a smooth surface. OCT technology is made for clinincal use and can provide the best possible dental imaging for rough areas of the teeth.

Another possibility is that this piece of equipment could be using a transillumination process. More and more of this equipment is actually being removed from the field because the light is simply not good enough to go through teeth and, therefore, does not do a very good job.

Finally, it is also possible that this piece of equipment you are referring to could still be an x-ray device but it is just providing the end use picture in an instantaneous digital format. If that is the case, x-rays are still being used to generate the image, it is just presented and packaged differently. The bottom line, it's still an x-ray.

Again, Lantis cannot completely comment on what piece of equipment you are referring to but the company has presented some possibilities as to what it could be and in each case Lantis Laser's OCT technology is far superior in performance, to be used clinically and without x-rays. Lantis Laser also has exclusive rights to use OCT technology for dentistry.

As far as your volume question is concerned, we can only speculate as to why there was little activity. As you know, in order for stock activity there has to be a buyer and a seller. We feel there are very few sellers right now. We feel that many are taking a longer term approach with this technology and are taking a buy and hold strategy. Again, that is only speculation and we cannot comment on each individual investors' goals and time horizons.

We hope that answers your questions and we continue to encourage constructive dialogue regarding Lantis Laser.
