possible benefits for hemapheliacs?

I'm not a doctor nor do I profess to be but I'm wondering if someone can provide some insight for me in layman's terms. I have a friend whose son has hemaphelia (I've probably spelled that wrong). Would these guys provide some added benefit for blood clotting that could help hemapheliacs? Just curious.
