until the mining sector turns around. Any news released when the juniors are correcting/consolidating might just be wasted. Might as well wait until buying comes back into the market. More investors will be watching for opportunities, and be more willing to jump in. Releasing news in a poor market just makes investors think "I'll have to watch this one", but by the time the market turns around, they're tired of watching a bunch of stocks that aren't doing anything, they'll buy the stocks that ARE issuing news, forgetting about the "old news" that impressed them earlier. All I'm saying is that news has a lot more impact in an upswing than a downswing.
One of these days GXP will break out above .15 and be on it's way. I think over the past couple of weeks we've had a big holder sell his position, for whatever reason; more than likely just tired of holding a stock that's not moving. We often see a lot of shares trade at a bottom, freeing up the stock to start moving up without the overhead selling to hold it back. I've taken the opportunity to double my position, anticipating some good news this year.
