TORONTO (Reuters) - Centerra Gold Inc said on Thursday the Mongolian government has officially registered the ore reserves of the Gatsuurt deposit that the company hopes to develop.
The move paves the way for negotiations of an investment pact that will let the company develop the deposit "in a timely manner," Centerra chief executive Len Homeniuk said in a statement.
Centerra shares rose 40 Canadian cents, or 3.3 percent, to C$12.50 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
