I've been in FV for over a year now. I live in the Yukon. I'm a bit curious about the price of Tellurium, and wondering if anyone out there has a handle on it. (Seems the Sonora property has it in abundance, but the company downplays it)

According to Wikipedia, it is very rare and prized for special conductivity properties. Wikipedia lists its 2006 price as $100 per pound. It is being used in the new thin cell solar technology. I was doing some research a few months back on solar companies. I believe the companies that will be needing it in abundance are First Solar and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and if they have their way they will be taking over a lot of market share from traditional silcon solar chip manufacturers.

That's about where my knowledge on this one ends. Does anyone know where it is traded, and by whom? Where would I be able to check out the price? Very little on Kitco. Noah Technologies lists finished ingots of 1.6 kilograms pure Tellurium at $841.00. http://www.noahtech.com/frameset.asp...

I'm wondering if this is a bit of blue sky, or just something sitting on the property.

Another question I have relates to the statement that a possible ultramafic complex with elevated nickel and chromium soil values exists on the property. Isn't a nickel and chromium in an ultramafic complex associated with pgm deposits? Another piece of blue sky, or a pipe dream?
