Jay is EYI Industries Inc.'s President and Chief Executive Officer. He holds the same positions with Essentially Yours Industries, Inc.
From 1979 to 1982, Mr. Sargeant, with his own Franchise Marketing company, IMA, developed the first 154 unit retail chain of microcomputer software retail stores.
From 1982 to 1989, in his own company, he lead a team of 60 people that developed 11 million dollars of corporate training programs for major US corporations.
From 1989 to 1995 he was a business development and sales consultant creating media, marketing and training programs. For one of those clients, Elcombe Systems, he launched a $20 million dollar distribution channel with 15,000 distributors.
From 1995 until June 30, 2002, Jay was a Director and Director of Operations for Essentially Yours Industries Corp. In this role, he developed a distribution channel of 500,000 Independent Business Associates that generated $300 million dollars in revenue.
From June 2002, Jay has orchestrated the corporate restructuring of Essentially Yours Industries, Inc. He introduced a cost cutting program to reduce expenses by 25 percent while laying the foundations of new programs and initiatives aimed at creating significant growth.
Dori is EYI Industries Inc.'s and Essentially Yours Industries, Inc.'s Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. He leads the strategic direction and implementation of all issues related to Investor Relations. Additionally, Dori is currently leading the expansion into South East Asia. He has played an integral role in opening the Hong Kong office in October 2005.
He has been a Direct Sales professional for over 30 years. In the 1990s he sold his marketing rights for an all-natural insecticide to a Public company and became Senior Vice President in charge of global operations. In this role, from 1990 to 1994, he opened offices in Japan and established sales organizations in 19 countries. These efforts led to a significant increase in stock value.
Dori has held other senior management positions with numerous private and public sector companies.
From 1997 to June 2002, he was a consultant with Essentially Yours Industries Corp.
Mr. Raniga has been EYI's Chief Financial Officer since December 31, 2003. Mr. Raniga is a Certified General Accountant. From 1989 to present Mr. Raniga has practiced with Delves Freer Anderson Raniga Caine as a general partner. In his private practice, prior to joining us, he specialized in auditing publicly-listed companies as well as acquisitions and mergers. He has also sat on the Board of Directors and served as the Chief Financial Officer of Uniserve Communications Services Inc., an internet service provider listed on the TSX Venture Exchange in Canada.
Janet Carpenter is Vice President, Product Development and has been with the company since 1998. She has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of product development, compliance, corporate affairs and international expansion. Janet holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Victoria.
Jay Paterson has been EYI's Director of Channel Marketing since January 2003. He attended the University of Victoria before launching a career in the consumer finance and insurance industry. For more than 15 years he owned and operated International Magic Kitchens, a successful retail, wholesale and direct sales business. During that time he began a 22-year career in Network Marketing with such companies as Shaklee Corporation and Matol Botanical. For two years, he was the President of Vancouver based Nutritional company, Pure Life.
