NEWS - CON-SPACE Appoints New Director

Posted by: AGORACOM on August 01, 2007 10:30AM

RICHMOND, BC, Aug. 1 - Jim Swanson, Chairman of CON-SPACE Communications Ltd. ("CON-SPACE"), (TSX-V: CCB), (con-space.com) today announced, the appointment of Mr. James Livingstone to the Board of Directors and Mr. Steve Mathiesen to the position of Corporate Secretary.

"It is with great pleasure that we welcome James and Steve to CON-SPACE", said Swanson, "as we know they will assist us in progressing to our next
level. Mr. James Livingstone has consented to serve as a Director and Mr. Steve Mathiesen as Corporate Secretary. These two highly qualified people round out the Board and Senior Officers of the company and will assist Management of the Company to achieve its planned objectives for significant growth."

James Livingstone, UBC educated, is a CA and Partner with Wolrige Mahon LLP Chartered Accountants of Vancouver, BC. He manages one of the leading corporate finance teams in BC and specializes in solving strategic and financial problems for manufacturers, distributors and service companies. He is assertive, growth-oriented and passionate about helping companies grow and improve their value through acquisitions, financial management and growth capital. James has assisted numerous companies through the entire acquisition and divestiture process from targeting and evaluating buyers, to valuation, due diligence and final close.

Steve Mathiesen, UBC and SFU educated, is a Lawyer and Partner with Lang Michener LLP of Vancouver, BC. He has been a business lawyer for 28 years focusing on public and private companies with emphasis on acquisitions, financings, securities and corporate matters. Steve's superior corporate knowledge and background lends itself to the continued development requirements of CON-SPACE.

James Livingstone will replace Eric Harris and Vince Ready on the board as both of these gentlemen have found it necessary to devote more of their time to their own individual companies. Steve Mathiesen will replace Jim Swanson as Corporate Secretary though Jim will remain as Chairman and CFO.

"We are extremely appreciative of the efforts of both Eric and Vince," said Swanson, "as it was through their guidance and direction that CON-SPACE worked its way through tough times in its early growth and continued to help us reach our current level."

CON-SPACE continues to put time and resources into the development of its organization. This includes its products, manufacturing, systems, management and corporate growth. As the future of CON-SPACE develops, its professionalism and attention to detail will stand it in good stead.
