RICHMOND, BC, July 24 - CON-SPACE Communications Ltd. ("CON-SPACE"), (TSX-V: CCB), (con-space.com), announced today annual sales of approximately $7.2 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2007. This gives an approximate increase of 31% over the previous year's sales of $5.49 million.
"It has been quite a year for CON-SPACE," said Jim Swanson, Chairman, "We have added a new President, Mike Thirlwell; a new Controller, Wendy Kloeble; introduced numerous new products including a new headset line and modular two-way radio accessory unit; plus acquired Search Systems, Inc, (SSI) of Bakersfield, CA. Our plan to start maturing the company came into play at the beginning of last fiscal, July 1, 2006, and this has been a great success."
SSI was acquired effective April 1, 2007, therefore its sales contributed to the total consolidated sales of CON-SPACE for the full 4th quarter of 2007 fiscal.
"We have once again rallied to overcome the continuing rise of the Canadian Dollar by continuing to work on reducing the costs of production and increase sales throughout England and Europe," said Swanson. "CON-SPACE is now a much larger and stronger company."
Actual Fiscal 2007 results will be released in September once the audit and financial statements have completed.
