(TSX VENTURE:GPS) (http://www.bsmtechnologies.com) a leading provider of GPS-based AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) fleet tracking and management solutions is pleased to announce today that it has received a third order from one of the largest transportation and services companies in Canada. This unnamed company (UNC) is a leader in its industry and has units installed across North America.
This third order to rollout 450 additional units throughout the UNC's fleet will be worth $840,000 over the course of the contract.
The "UNC" previously had incorporated 100 SentinelFM units in its fleet as part of a Canadian pilot program first announced May 3, 2006. The highly successful program led to an additional 100 units order for their US fleet as announced October 5, 2006. This will bring a total of 650 after roll out.
The UNC has worked with BSM since the initial roll out and was able to allocate budgeted funds to install more units throughout its fleet.
