TORONTO, ONTARIO--(July 2, 2008) - Brigadier Gold Limited (TSX VENTURE:BRG) (the "Corporation") announces today that it has received regulatory approval to issue 267,300 common shares at $0.10 per share to extinguish outstanding debts of $26,730 to consultants. The expiry date of the hold period for the securities issued pursuant to this debt settlement is November 2, 2008.

Brigadier has 38,027,968 common shares outstanding and trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol BRG.
