Chicoutimi, Quebec CANADA, August 07, 2007 - Arianne Resources Inc. (TSX - VX: DAR), the Company ("Arianne") wishes to inform its shareholders on the progress of its summer exploration works.
Natashquan and Havre-Nord (Uranium) Projects: a helicopter geophysical survey (MAG-VLF-SPECTROMETRY) took place on selected blocks of the Natashquan and Havre Nord projects in order to identify the best uranium targets (see June 7 press release). Close to 2,000 km of line were surveyed on 10 blocks of claims. From these blocks, three showed high uranium grades and additional claims were staked by the Company in the immediate surroundings. Three other blocks showed interesting uranium grades while the last four seem to have weaker showings.
At the end of August, a heliported team will do the follow-up of these new targets and a ground level prospection program will be organized. Part of this project is done in partnership with the Innu Nitassinan Mining Fund and with Exploration Azimut (TSX Venture: AZM). The budget for this program amounts to more than $400,000 and is financed by Arianne and the Mining Fund.
Opinaca Project (Gold) : Following magnetometric and IP surveys that took place last winter on the central part of the property (see March 2007 press release), the Company recently completed a geochemical survey on that grid and the partial results show the presence of gold-bearing areas. It is on one of those areas, the Aeul showing, where grab samples returned, in 2006, 25.72 g/t Au (blocks) and 8.42 g/t Au, that drilling started early July. Many intersections with disseminated sulfides (pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, arsenopyrite) were encountered. Assays are pending.
The drill will soon move towards the Contact, Isabelle and Bull sectors where the best drilling results were previously obtained, in 2006. The area West of the Aeul zone will also be investigated with drilling this fall.
Previous 2006 drill results returned 4.73 g/t Au on 3.10 m (including 11.11 g/t Au on 1.10 m; OPI-06-16) on the Contact zone, 3.30 g/t Au on 6.75 m (including 5.83 g/t Au on 3.75 m; OPI-06-43) on the Chino zone and 31.44 g/t Au on 2.6 m (including 55.94 g/t Au on 1.45 m; OPI-06-34) on the Isabelle zone, see map on:

This project is done in partnership with SOQUEM and has a budget of more than 1 Million $, financed by Arianne.
Other projects (gold): On the Massicotte (Detour Lake) project, in partnership with Radisson Mining Resource (TSX-V : RDS), the geological compilation is underway in order to identify zones of interest. The Radisson properties cover more than 20 km along the Sunday Lake deformation zone. They also overlap on more than 15 km, the Massicotte regional gold fault zone with the Lynx, Rambo and Lap 3 showings that previously returned historical results in gold of 7.8 g/t Au on 7.2 m, 6.3 g/t Au on 2.7 m and 24.1 g/t Au on 2.4 m.
The La Dauversire and Paleoplacer projects will be worked on later in the Fall.
The Mexican gold and silver projects will be explored next winter.
The Sagar uranium project and Heva West gold project (where one exploration drill hole was done last June) are being put on hold, for now, following disappointing exploration results.
