I was a little disappointed that there was no update on the major pharmaceutical company that is testing out the three reformulated products.
Separately, despite the fact that FDA approval of a drug is a very long process I like to think that by using a different delivery mechanism for an existing approved drug, that the process would be expedited in part due to the possibility of fewer testing requirements. Hopefully, once this process has been proven out, future drugs and their related approval will be more timely.
This is all conjecture on my part as I don't have any experience or background in drug development. I would like to hear other opinions confirming or denying the prospect of expedited drug approval based on a sole difference of a delivery mechanism, from those of you with more experience.
