I believe the company has a strong supporter in China who simply fronts the money to pay for little things like factories. I also believe the supporter recently bought the Transamerica Tower in San Francisco, the pointed one that graces the city skyline, for about 1B. The funding for the ALRX sort of ventures may be in the form of simple loans rather than stock ownership.
