Calgary, Alberta CANADA, October 16, 2007 - AeroMechanical Services Ltd. (AMA - TSX Venture), ("AMS") announces that the company has filed a Notice of Change of Auditor appointing KPMG LLP as auditors of AMS. AMS has changed its auditors as a consequence of the expanding international needs of the company. Mr. Tom French Vice President and CFO of AMS stated that "we want to thank Grant Thornton for the services they have provided for the last 7 years. The services that were provided during the research and development stages of our company helped secure our position as a strong public company and we appreciate the services that have been provided. With growth in our international markets, we required the services of a global firm with ties to aviation and KPMG will fill that role." There has been no disagreements, unresolved issues, or consultations with the previous auditors.
The above agreement is subject to the acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange.
