Darryl E. Jacobs was employed from June 1988 to May 1990 as an Engineering Development Assistant, working with the Industrial Liaison Group at the University of Alberta, developing and commercializing laser equipment for industrial and commercial applications. For the past fourteen years, Darryl Jacobs has been involved in aerospace Business development, aircraft maintenance and manufacturing management, and research and development in a wide variety of local and international programs in North and South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. From May 1990 to September 1992, Darryl Jacobs was the Fabrication and Machine Shop Manager for Alberta Aircraft Overhaul Ltd., an aircraft modification and repair facility, and from September 1992 to December 1996 he was also responsible for operations and business development of this company. For the next 2 and 1/2 years, Mr. Jacobs was a Business Development Consultant with Amtech Aeronautical Ltd. And President of Inter-Action Technology Services Ltd. developing contract business for several engineering and defence contractors leading to the development of the Corporation in September 1998. As President of the Alberta Aerospace Association, Darryl Jacobs remains well connected to the activities of the aerospace industry and government policy in Alberta, Canada, and internationally. As President and CEO of the Corporation from September 1998 to date, Mr. Jacobs has been responsible for the Corporation’s administration, management and marketing efforts.
