Nickel for delivery in three months gained as much as $1,100 a ton, or 6.2 percent, to $18,900 a ton on the London Metal Exchange, the biggest one-day increase since June 12. The contract traded at $18,700 a ton as of 5 p.m. This is clearly showing some stabilization. We all know that demand will be sustained by world wide generic growth.
