yesterday's trading

I have had a bid in for 50000 shares at $.045 US for some time. Yesterday I looked in my account and saw my account was valued at $3.50 US, but my order had not been filled. I called my broker to complain and he gave me the run down on shares traded.

From 9:30 AM to 3:30 Pm all trades were from .06 Cad to .065 Cad.

at 15:31 243 shares traded at .035

at 15:47 1000 traded at .055

at 15:47 780 traded at .035

at 15:55 1000 traded at .055

at 15:55 706 tradedat .035

They say this is why my order was not filled.

Is this pure market manipulation or what? I would like someone in the brokerage business explain this to me.
