I guess that it would depend on if you want the stock price to move or not. If there are fewer shares for sale above the current bid/ask then there are below, it may be easier for the price to move up. Alot of info can be gleaned from level II I think. I'm still learning, so I suggest that you watch how different stocks react during normal (and abnormal) trading.

This information is worth exactly what you paid for it... :)
