Before I go off to see whether my Senators can beat the Maple Leafs [I know folks, I have some failings :) ], I must comment on your strategy. It's an excellent one. I think Alcollard has mentioned something similar on the McFaulds Lake hub.

"Averaging up" is far, far smarter than "averaging down". You play into strength and not into weakness.

I'm sorry to hear that you won't be at the party :) However, send along your $1000 bucks and I will buy you some Steamwhistle pilsner you can swig in your RV in Mexico. And if you send along your address, I might deliver it in person along with any other Spider friends wanting to travel first class :)
