DE1 Spinoff ??...dony CMP....

Posted by: johndefur on May 09, 2008 02:11PM

While I too agree that NOT's price is mostly reflecting DE1, I don't believe it will be quite so simple to spin DE1 off for a number of resaons, including...

The reference you made to the $50,000,000.00 cash was raised thru financing solely for the DE1 deposit....This would obviously mean IF DE1 was spinned off , that NOT would have to go out and raise much more money, for NOT's other projects, and in addition may have to give back to DE1 some of the money already spent on other projects...I believe this was a very smart and opportunistic way to proceed with exploration work at Windfall et al, using NOT's cash in hand for the entire Company...

I also don't believe this is the time to raise substancial amounts of moneys for explorations....

However one way it may be done is to seperate Windfall from NOT and merge NOT's and FWR's Windfall properties into a new Company, as I suggested some time ago, and at the same time as spinning off to NOT/FWR shareholders their corresponding number of NEW Windfall shares, to issue additional shares on an initial public offering, and thus raise funds for the New Windfall Company, and that way both DE and Windfall would have it's own true Market Values...I note that NOT and FWR are rumoured to be meeting this week end...Is this what they will be discussing????

further NOT can continue to do the same with the other properties they feel have true market value possibilities on their own...Although I believe, IF this is done, it should be done very slowly and thoughfully, and hopefully whenever more bullish Market Sentiments prevail...
