Thank you for your inquiry. We truncate URL's within message for aesthetic purposes. Before our website upgrades, when posting a URL in the message would skew our Styling Sheet; the entire column on the right hand side as it appears on your screen would disappear.

To share a link with others you can post it in a message, simply by copying the URL from your browser and pasting it in your message. By clicking the "Preview" button before submitting your post will ensure that the Hyperlink is indeed working and also give you a chance to proofread and edit your message before final submission.
