Hello George
As per your message below...what you are censoring is a big part of what people come to these boards for.... we build community and trust by sharing…and speaking candidly as though we were face to face. Not you… not anyone can verify most of what is said....and that applies whether it is in person or on this forum….but as you develop relationships and trust ...the credibility that one assigns to an individual poster can grow…..and thus we can all benefit from conversations and experience of a few trustworthy individuals….ALWAYS with the caveat that anyone of these posters might not be truthful….but please allow us to be our own judges of this.
If it is some form of lawsuit protection you seek then I personally would prefer to see a disclaimer at the bottom of each post ….rather than a big brother type censorship.
My (passionate) thoughts.

"Hi, Donypee and thanks for the question. The directive didn't come from Noront, it is simply one of our rules. Otherwise, what stops anybody from posting to a client site (call it "ABC Resources") and state: "I just spoke to the CEO of ABC Resources and he told me we are being bought by Barrick next week". Taking any such posts down doesn't imply the particular member was untruthful. Rather, because we can't determine the validity of any offline conversations with management, we have to take any of them down that specifically deal with insider / material information. It is for everybody's good. This is a very specific and limited circumstance and in no way stifle's discussion. On the other hand, "if you think your thinking has reached a conclusion that is not proven", post away. That is one of the important functions of this board. It is your opinion and your thinking, not attributed to a specific employee of a public company. Thanks for the question and I trust this clarifies things. Regards, George "
