Late Thursday Morning Al thoughts

#4241 - Thursday morning thoughts

Good morning. Overseas the Asian indices were a sea of red, meanwhile, the European indices are putting in some solid gains with strength in bank and oil stocks. On the economic calendar we have a busy day with Import/Export Price numbers, Initial Jobless Claims, Retail Sales/Retail Sales-ex auto numbers, all at 8:30 am. At 10 am we get the Business Inventories numbers. Some potential for market moving data from todays economic calendar. The US futures are currently pointing to a positive opening for the US indices. It may be a tough day for the Canadian indices as commodity prices are under pressure at least to start the day.

Back in McFaulds Lake another dreary day for NOT. Slowly investors are throwing in the towel with no news on the assay front, nor news from visuals. Looking at the chart of NOT it appears NOT is currently at support, but a further breakdown in share price and failure to hold the $3.30 level and a test of Jan lows at $2.50 is probable. With all the drills NOT has going 24/7, investors are finding it hard to fathom, how not only do we not have any assay results, but no news on the visual front either.

Yesterday we received assay results from FWR/KWG/SPQ. These assays were received from an anomoly 3.6 kms northeast of NOT's original Eagle One discovery. The Chrome content from these assays looked excellent and SPQ and KWG's share price responded as both were up over 20% on the day. SPQ is currently going through a 10 for 1 reverse split vote and it's too bad yesterdays assays results didn't occur after the split, if it happens. Millions of shares get traded currently to move the stock up or down a cent. Very frustrating for LT investors in this stock. I have a feeling if the share structure would of been cleaned up on this stock, yesterdays announcement would of seen much higher % gains for the share price. Many investors won't touch a stock with such a high o/s share count, and a $.07 share price.

FWR's share price didn't respond to yesterdays news. Lots of paper came out to hold the share price down. I took the plunge and bought some at $.29 anticipating a share price run up, however when all the paper started getting dumped into the news I bailed at $.29 for a flat trade. Someone sure didn't want FWR's share price to go up yesterday. Very strange reaction to yesterdays news from FWR. Going to go back to the drawing board and rethink my previous thoughts on this stock. Initial thoughts were previous PP shares were being dumped into the news. Also, FWR's close ties to NOT may not be doing the stocks share price any favours here.

TME had a 600,000 share cross at $.63 yesterday. With a large land holding in the proximity of MTX/WSR's mineralized sulphide discovery, this one may be setting itself up for a run. A TradingChief member brought up the fact that TME has property adjoining GCR's Langmuir discovery also. Put this McFaulds Lake stock on your radar, looks like it is a stock you may want to keep your eye on for down the road share price gains.

MKR is also a McFaulds Lake stock that is getting some notice from investors. The recent PP from Sprott and the stocks proximity property to MTX/WSR's discovery has peaked my interest in the stock. Not much on the promo side from management, however, Sprott's involvement may change this down the road.

McFaulds Lake needs something from its leader, NOT, to get investors excited in the play again. The news blackout from NOT and the lack of assay results or visuals is a major concern right now. NOT, certainly isn't doing McFaulds Lake stocks any favours by going from the rah rah, promotional behaviour of the past, to the silent treatment of the present. However, with all the drills turning in McFaulds Lake from the various companies, I think it is just a matter of time before someone stumbles across another discovery of significance. JMHO

Best of luck to all McFaulds Lake investors.
