Al's Wed morning thoughts from TC

#4220 - Wed morning thoughts

Good morning. Overseas indices show Asia was mixed with European indices flat. Commodity prices are showing early strength which should bode well for the Canadian indices after yesterdays downward slide. The futures markets are pointing to a positive opening for the US indices. On the economic calendar we get the Crude Inventories numbers at 10:30 am, these numbers have the potential to be market movers, especially for the energy stocks.

Back in McFaulds Lake we seen another dismal day for the various stocks, but for the most part, the volumes were very low. There just wasn't much interest in the McFaulds Lake stocks yesterday. Just when it appears NOT's share price has turned the corner, the bottom falls out of it. One step ahead, two steps backwards. The news vacuum from NOT on the drilling front is troublesome to say the least. How can a company with so many drills turning 24/7 not have at a minimum, something to say on the visual front? Good news travels at the speed of light while bad news comes on the back of a turtle. Tells me the news from NOT's anomoly drilling isn't good. If they hit something of significance it wouldn't take long for it to hit the rumour mill.

I read a quote yesterday from Cooper123 that caught my attention and best sums up NOT's current situation. "Looks like NOT is stuck for now with a $4 to $5 Billion resource thats contained like a small cigar within a pipe "conduit" that runs from PRB to FNC and possibly beyond. Thats why there has been very little activity at the Eagle 1. They go south = FNC They go north = PRB."

The word from Mac Watson out of FWR, is that apparently FWR will start drilling the 1st part of July on either its 100% owned property or the JV property it has with NOT. The JV'ed anomoly looks very promising from earlier EM surveys. Many investors still believe FWR may be the sleeper stock in McFaulds Lake. With only a $50 million market cap the share price looks cheap if the drill bit finds something of importance in McFaulds. The one thing about FWR is they have numerous irons in the fire with various projects. Definitely not a one trick pony.

PRB's called off talks with NOT and now delayed drilling of its McFaulds West property has certainly put downward pressure on its share price. Many investors own this stock just for that McFaulds West property potential so the delay in drilling it, is a major concern. The fantastic assay numbers from the outcrop sample found on this property and proximity to NOT's Double Eagle discovery has many believing this property could be the feeder zone to the original discovery. I'm looking to pick up some shares on share price weakness and tuck them away. I have a feeling those that have patience will be well rewarded with this stock. JMHO

FNC's share price seems stuck around the $1.50 level. The clock is ticking on hearing news from FNC that they actually plan on drilling this property starting next week, as stated from their last update. Any delay from Peter Smith and I expect the bottom to fall out of the share price. Investors have been tolerant of the numerous past drilling delays. But, another delay would tell me FNC has no plans to drill this property any time soon. Toss a coin on this one, but it looks like a high risk play to me. Those that like high risk, high reward plays, this could be the play for you.

BMK's share price looks worthy of taking a chance on currently. They own numerous properties in the proximity of MTX/WSR's latest mineralized sulphide discovery. If the assays from MTX/WSR live up to the hype of their visuals, BMK's share price should get a boost. As much as I dislike management of BMK from their PP fiasco, the stock does have potential with their huge land holdings in McFaulds Lake. The thing about BMK is they are well financed to drill their many anomolies.

With so many drill programs going full tilt during the summer months, it is just a matter of time before one of them hits something of significance. It is my belief McFaulds Lake is still in the infancy stage and this entire area will one day be home to one of Canada's biggest mining camps. JMHO

Best of luck to all McFaulds Lake investors.
