#3967 - Tuesday morning thoughts

Good morning. Overseas markets are mixed today with Asian indices up and European markets moderately down. The futures market is pointing to a mixed opening on Wall St. Not much on the economic calendar today to sway the markets, we get consumer confidence numbers and reported new home sales at 10 am. All eyes will be on the price of oil and how it will effect the economy going forward. Inflation appears to be the next huge problem for the US fed to tackle.

Back in McFaulds Lake, it was another day of waiting for investors, on the assay results from DE2. Lots of rumours, that today is the day for the results, but yesterdays volume certainly offered no clues. Looking at NOT's chart it flashed a buy signal yesterday and looks poised to turn the corner for an upward move. The buy signals are still weak but the chart is predicting good news from the DE2 results. So finally a positive sign for the long term holders of NOT.

Personally I remain in the wait and see camp for NOT. Will hold my freebee shares but won't add until I see the actual DE2 assay results. There are just too many warning signs, for me, from the delays in reporting the reassays to take the plunge.

FWR is another McFaulds Lake stock with a chart flashing a buy signal. Perhaps the assay results from the JV drilling with SPQ/FWR/KWG is getting close. With a market cap of $50 million one would assume a good assay result from FWR would produce a double in share price, a $100 million market cap is usually the next level in a mining stocks share price cycle. With so many irons in the fire, FWR offers numerous opportunities for investors.

PRB should be announcing the start of their drilling program on the DE1 proximity play any day now. Not sure how spring breakup is going in McFaulds Lake but haven't heard any rumours of any delays. The share price of PRB should get a big boost once the drilling actually starts. I expect new 52 week highs in share price before we ever get visuals from this drill program. Best of luck to all the long term investors that have held this stock through the ups and down of the market. It's been a long wait for investors of PRB, but your day is very near.

FNC should be announcing plans to drill any day now also. The plan was to drill around mid June sometime. If Peter Smith delays the drilling of this proximity property one more time I would assume investors will throw in the towel and move on to stocks that actually want to succeed. Once again, if/when the market gets confirmation that FNC is going to drill I would expect the share price to test 52 week highs.
