Lawsuit if PP proceeds

In response to: Lawsuit if PP proceeds by Golo

Excuse me but I must reply. Joined Algoracom only so I could do so.

Alcollard is right to be angry. I would be too. This placement is an outrage.  As for talk of a lawsuit, forget it. The deal will be done.

With all due respect to Golo, I believe he's incorrect. The price was not struck previously. If it was, I can't find a record of it. It appears strike price was made while stock traded and closed in the mid-80's. This amazes me as the maximum discount used to be 25% for stocks trading below $1. Perhaps that rule has changed. I'll have to check. If so I'm not surprised. The market is fast getting out of control.

This saga is unfortunate. BMK had some interesting prospects. But with the deck this loaded, I doubt it's a game worth playing. Golo should realize that placees can always short and cover later when shares become free trading. At this discount to market, they cannot lose.

Happily for shareholders, I doubt this placement will damage share price in the short term. Many punters will be in awe of the named placees. Some will even rejoice at their arrival. It's that kind of a market. Many new sheep have arrived to be sheared.

Lots of fun. Good Luck to all.
