Dr. Gary Nash BSc (Hons) PhD Physics, is keenly interest in mineralogy and the genesis of mineral deposits. His current interest is focused on the physics of komatiite flows. Dr. Nash has developed a conceptual physical model of the komatiite flow from the Redstone area to the McWatters mine with particular application of the laws of hydrodynamics to better understand how the pods of Ni mineralization could form on Liberty's properties. He also brings project management experience to Liberty being an Edmonton based real-estate developer and contractor over a 27 year career.
Mr. Buysen has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta, a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta. He provided audit and assurance services while working at Grant Thornton LLP from 2000 to 2003 and with KPMG LLP from 2003 to 2006. Prior to joining Liberty, Mr. Buysen was the corporate controller for Flint Energy Services Ltd., an oil and natural gas service company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX:FES)
Mr. Will Randall BSc (Hons) MSc Geology PGeo, previously worked at the Cape Smith Nickel Belt in northern Quebec as part of a team responsible for the discovery of numerous significant Ni-Cu-PGE magmatic sulphide deposits.
Mr. Donald Schurman BCom. MHSA, is a founding Partner of TKMC, a Canadian national general management-consulting firm with offices in Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, and Victoria. Mr. Schurman currently consults in the area of board governance with a focus on improving board performance. He presently serves on the boards of Isotechnika Inc., Rx Canada, and the National Quality Institute.
Mr. Schurman is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors
Mr. John Pinsent BCom CA, is a founding partner in St. Arnaud Pinsent & Associates (a general practice chartered accounting firm) following a distinguished ten-year career as an assurance senior manager with Ernst & Young LLP in Edmonton. While at Ernst & Young, Mr. Pinsent acquired significant mining industry experience as the audit senior manager on such clients as Luscar Ltd, the Luscar Coal Income Fund, IMC Global and Echo Bay Mines. He specializes in the provision of accounting, audit, tax and business advisory services to a wide variety of industries but has a particular passion for developmental enterprises.
Mr. Gerry Feldman BA BCom(Hons) CA, is a partner in Schwartz Levitsky Feldman, LLP, Chartered Accountants. The firm provides a full range of professional services including but not limited to auditing and accounting, corporate and personal tax planning, management advisory services and business investigations. The firm specializes in audits of brokerage houses, public companies, Investment Councilor and Limited Market Dealers, Mutual Fund Dealers and Mutual Funds.
Mr. Feldman is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and of the Canadian Public Accountability Board.
Mr. Carlo Cattarello P.Eng. Metallurgical Engineering, was a Professor of Metallurgy and Milling at the Haileybury School of Mines in Haileybury, Ontario for 21 years. Previous to that he held senior metallurgical positions with several mining companies over a distinguished 22 year career in the mining industry.
Mr. Gil Bertrand, is Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor for the Percussive Drilling Division of Boart Longyear. Gil is a Director on the Board of the Ontario Mine Contractors' Safety Assocation and is proficient in all areas of mining with a career spaning 32 years in the industry.
Mr. Steven Anderson, is a geotechnologist with over 25 years of experience in staking, sampling, drilling and general exploration contract work. He is the owner and manager of Timmins based Vision Exploration Ltd.
