GHANZI COPPER-SILVER PROJECT

Located in northwestern Botswana, the Ghanzi Copper-Silver Project consists of five license blocks covering approximately 4,370 square kilometers (437,000 hectares). Hana mining is in the advanced stages of a 10,000 meter drill program at the Ghanzi Copper-Silver Project.

  • Project located between Ghanzi in the South and Maun to the North-East
  • Power available at Maun (20MW on 132kV line)
  • The paved Trans Kalahari Highway to Namibia and South Africa runs 10 km to the North
  • Rail link to the Namibian coast scheduled to pass within 10 km of the project area; construction to commence late 2007

The project area lies within the Late Proterozoic Damaran rift sequence of the Pan African Mobile Belt. These same rocks host the world-class deposits of the Zambian Copper Belt, which contains roughly 30% of the world's copper reserves.

RECENT NEWS

On March 6, 2008, Hana Mining announced results from four new holes completed as part of its ongoing 10,000-meter diamond drilling program. All four holes intersected varying amounts of copper-silver mineralization within the H-I area. Highlights include 7.0 meters grading 1.80% copper, 23.98 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 674 parts per million (ppm) molybdenum and 3.28 ppm rhenium in hole HA-10-D. This intercept includes a very high-grade section that returned 0.5 meters grading 20.5% copper, 285 g/t silver, greater than 10,000 ppm molybdenum and greater than 50 ppm rhenium. Results from the additional holes are pending and will be reported as they are received and compiled.

The four holes were collared in the H-I grid area (see map below) of the property, with the following results:
