Agoracom's response to Cylinder's query about handling PRES./VP offensive messages ignores a key point by cylinder: As Agoracom matures, more and more members will attain those statuses. A larger and larger portion of a forum's participants will be immune from admin intervention.
Agoracom's statement "Typically, we've found that when someone has attained the rank of VP or higher, they act in a manner consistent with our community standards" is abit premature in that the site hasn't been around long enough to make any kind of true measurement along those lines. I've already seen concrete evidence that sheers points alone does not guarantee responsible behaviour/posting. Since Hub Leaders have SOME form of evaluation involved in their appointment process, while Pres + VP happens on the basis of points alone, I agree with Cylinder that HL's need to have admin control over those posts as well.
Additionally Forums should have some sort of "aging" system attached to activity points - every 6 months 10% of points are removed or something like that. The point being that some sort of meaningly ONGOING activity should be required to increase or maintain statuses.
