Everyone here should plan on exercising a bit of patience. Think of the situation. They have a 2.7km length of steel extended into the ground, the end of which is stuck. There is probably at least 2 km tube of water in the hole, with tremendous pressure at the end. The problem is how to get this length of steel unstuck, or at the least, somehow cut it off at an acceptable depth in order to restart the hole with a wedge. The option being considered is to blast it at a certain preferable point, but there are tremendous difficulties in accomplishing this. We have the most experienced people on the planet dealing with the problem, and however it works out, it works out. Should they rush the job because the shareholders are anxious to see results, and ultimately wind screwing the hole, which can easily happen, or even lose everything below 14-1500m? Or should they take the time to try to make this work out to a solution that results in the greatest depth possible salvaged?
