Question for those that know

I heard somewhere that there are certain investment vehicles where an investor can only make withdrawls twice a month. And these vehicles are then forced to liquidate assets regardlsess of price to cover the cash withdrawls, which causes huge drops in SP for no reason.. IS THIS TRUE
