Long term Lithium chemicals price

I invested in Lithium miners because I believed the long term investment theses….in spite of some painful short term surprises.
And I still think the long term theses still holds……world moving to decarbonization, electrification, batteries, and the key part Lithium will play.
When I see 2030 (and beyond) Lithium supply-demand projections, all forecast project a material deficit. As per Benchamark Minerals, deficit will start in 2027/28, and the deficit will only grow from there.
On the other hand, I see long term LCE price at an average around $ 25k
So if the projected deficit after 2027/28 will grow and grow, how come that the price projections do not reflect that?
I know the last 12-18 months tested our investors sanity…..and at this point I am not sure what is right or wrong….but I am wondering about this long term price forecasts……and the long term S/D projections…..
Any thoughts?
Thanks for your inputs!
